For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by March 15th, so we can have an accurate headcount. :)

Can I bring a date?

Please check your invite for your +1!

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, we will not be able to accommodate them on the wedding day.

What will the weather be like?

In September you can expect beautiful weather, not too hot and not too cool, very little rain and fairly long summery days. Florence experiences warm, pleasant weather with average daytime highs around 81°F (27°C) and lows around 62°F (17°C). You will be able to enjoy the sights in Florence without sweltering in the heat, lots of things are open late and you can still enjoy a lot of outdoor and nighttime events and openings.

Where should I park?

If you are renting a car and plan to drive to Villa La Massa for the wedding, there will be parking on-site. Parking is limited, however, so please check with the Villa for additional details.

Does your wedding have a theme?

Italian glamour meets modern chic.

We’re excited to share Florence and the surrounding hills of Tuscany with our family and friends. The villa itself has some pretty incredible history. The first records of Villa La Massa date back to the end of the 13th century. In 1525, Villa La Massa became the summer residence of Santi Landini, a famous Editor belonging to the Florentine aristocracy. In 1953, Villa La Massa later became the property of John Goldsmith and eventually the Sears family who transformed it into a luxury hotel in 1953. Since then, many famous guests have stayed at Villa La Massa: Gregory Peck, Winston Churchill, Barbara Hutton, Elisabeth Taylor and Richard Burton – just to mention a few. In 1992, David Bowie and Iman celebrated their wedding at Villa La Massa.

What should I wear?

Below are some recommendations for dress based on the day:

Thursday: Colorful cocktail - [Pinterest board here for inspo]. Channel the iconic style of Florence’s vintage party days with your own unique twist.

Ladies: Think bold colors, sleek or flowy silhouettes, metallics, sequins, silky fabrics, or prints.

Gentlemen: Think tailored trousers, open-collar shirts, linen blazers. Spice it up with color, prints, leather details, statement sunglasses, or classic loafers.

Friday: Black tie - optional “Neutral Chic” - [Pinterest board here for inspo]. We'd love for everyone to wear neutral, soft, earthy tones. Please no bright colors if you can :)

Ladies: Neutral soft, earthy tones, blues, blacks, “muted” colors (wear your bright and bold colors the night before!). Ideally floor length gowns or similar formal dresses. Remember most of the dinner will be on grass!

Gentlemen: Tuxes for those who want to go black tie or suits for those who want to go more casual.

Ultimately, we want everyone to have fun with what they wear and show up in whatever makes them feel fabulous.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

The wedding ceremony, dinner, dancing will be outdoors, followed by a late night party in the Villa La Massa restaurant. Please make sure to wear appropriate shoes for grass.

Is there a gifts registry?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. If you do wish to honor us with a gift, a contribution towards our honeymoon would mean the world to us.

Whom should I call with questions?
